  • The Panama hat is woven in Ecuador and made from the heart of the toquilla plant.  It is a high quality straw, breathable, light, offers sun protection and has a classic timeless look.

    The selection of materials is one of my favorite parts about hat making. I love the classic color of panama straw (such as sand cream and caramel). I also like to choose a splash of color like; orange, cherry and blue.

    Once I have the colors in hand, I block and shape the straw hoods into classic hat shapes such as: fedoras, trilbies and cloches.
